My troublesome business experience with Anita took me completely off guard. I have known Anita for a number of years as a customer of a furniture store I’ve worked for 25 years.

I noticed Anita driving a Mercedes Benz and spending a lot of money at the furniture store. She explained to me that she was flipping houses for big profits. She later asked me if I would like to join her in her real estate business. Anita immediately gave me an address of a house that we could flip to make a large profit, she later told me the entire deal would be mine “to get my feet wet”. Over a period of four months, I gave Anita $19,500.00 to buy properties. No properties were ever purchased nor were deposits made toward any real estate holdings. Since then, she has changed her phone number, moved from the rented house that she claimed she owned, and changed her email address.

Anita Dehaney has an extensive criminal background. She is now under investigation by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
